How to Cope with School Stress!

Hey everyone,
it's official, I'm getting back into blogging and I'm coming back with a bang with a lot more hopefully interesting posts for you all, since I've been gone for a while. I don't know what it is, there's just been a lot going on and I haven't had too much time to think of ideas, write it up, take photos and edit them and publish! Enough complaining, let's get cracking...

So we've all been back at school for a few months, and I'm sure I speak for a lot of you when I say school really has taken it's toll on us all! All of the early mornings and late nights, homework, exams, fussy teachers and generally getting on at school can sometimes get really tiresome and stressful, well at least it does for me! Sometimes, it can get a bit much and you can feel suffocated in all the work, especially when you have a lot of other things going on too like after school hobbies, friends, helping out at home, so here are a few things I've found super helpful to help me deal with it all and make life a little easier, enjoy!

1. Get organised!

It's a lot easier said than done, but there's no way you can get everything done perfectly without being organised. By writing down your timetable in your homework diary or a notepad, you'll easily know which books or equipment to pack for the next day, which homework to bring in and anything else you'll need to remember!

Another thing that you need to keep on top of is homework, and getting it done on time! I'm the worst at this since I never want to do it, but I've made it a priority to get every piece of homework done on the night I got it, and although annoying, it's so much easier to get that weight off your shoulders until you need to hand it in, instead of having a big rush to get it done on the night before, which we're all guilty of doing!

Finally, make sure you have everything ready to get ready with on the night before school, like all your uniform, any makeup or whatever you want to use at reach, your bag packed and homework done, so you can relax and don't have to hurry around trying to find a clean shirt!

2. Try to get enough sleep!

This one is also easier said than done, since I've been known to stay up way too late on instagram or watching YouTube videos, but sleep really is important in order to wake up feeling refreshed and not too tired throughout the day! If you get everything done that you need to in the evening, you can go to bed worry-free and have a good rest.

Try and do anything possible in the morning to make you feel more awake and energised so you're not sluggish in lessons, whether that be taking a slightly cool shower, using a refreshing face wash or having a big cup of coffee! (I usually do all three!)

3. Don't be too hard on yourself - relax!

This is probably the most enjoyable step of them all! After all, you are only young and after working hard all day at school and on your homework etc, you deserve a bit of relaxation! I find listening to music, watching YouTube videos, having a bubble bath and lighting a yummy smelling candle all help me to de-stress a bit!

Hope you've enjoyed reading this and it could help you with school! X
